Tests in Germany have used glucosamine SULFATE and have not included chondroitin which many doctors say does nothing but increase the cost of supplements.
Glucosamine hydrochloride is the main ingredient in many supplements but it is 1500 mg of glucosamine
sulfate (taken in 750 mg doses twice a day) that actually works. Please note that race horses are given glucosamine sulfate.
